Hi All,

i was shopping around for a dac amp and noticed some bluetooth options but wasnt clear on whether the bluetooth is for the phone-dac or dac-headphone or both

anyone have any experience with this or know? Q5sis what i was looking at fyi

DAC is Digital to Analogue Converter.

Bluetooth transmits in Digital.

Your phone has to transmit your music in digital via BT, then the BT receiver chip on your DAC-HPamp will pass it on to the DAC in the DAC-HPamp for decoding, then amplified by the HPamp in the DAC-HPamp.
