This may be a really dumb question, but does anybody think that Tyson's bluetak mod might work on $10 Sony earbuds?? (MDR-E828) I just opened 'em up to see if there was anything moving around (b/c of a slight crackling noise) and I was pondering this question. (b/c these things have NO bass)

If the answer is no, at least I made a comical post.

well, it was a bit tight, and thus hard to pack the stuff in there, but I think I actually busted the crappy little speaker in doing so. Thus, don't try to put bluetak in your earbuds.
