great little streamer. (less great DAC. I'd suggest using it and feeding an external dac)

I guess bluesound is making a new one? Hopefully with I2s

I was gonna say, this thing is way popular. I have one and love it. Is an update/refresh coming?

Used to own one, but my DAC sounded better from its USB than other digital ins, would be cool if new version of Node had USB output this time around!

The new Node is up on the Bluesound site. Curiously (and confusingly) they've gone back to just calling it the Node and not Node 3. No USB out

The site now says USB 2.0 audio output "available for free with future software update". I checked the site this morning and I don't think that was there. I'm sure I would have noticed it, since this is the only feature I really care about. Anyway, sounds like it's not there yet but a possibility so

Yeah, this would be great. Wouldn't it be even better if they updated the older versions to also have USB output?

The Node page on the Bluesound site now says:

Audio Output

Analog Stereo RCA (Fixed or Variable)
Coaxial RCA
TOSLINK digital optical
USB Audio 2.0

This morning USB wasn't in the list. 🤷‍♂️

Yeah, but there's that pesky asterisk next to it!
