i'm surprised I haven't seen these mentioned here, save for a post announcing them at CES, and someone mentioning them in the MDR1000X impressions page.
honestly they're the nicest Bluetooth over-ear pair of headphones out there IMO, but also work well in wired mode even without their builtin amp.
I prefer my QC35 for noise canceling, and they sound fine for OTG, but these Satelites sound much better to me. Tighter bass, pretty solid in the mid and treble, but could use a bit mor clarity in the mids and maybe a bit mor depth. Not that there muddy by any means, but those are some changes i'd make. But seriously a great first BT pair by blue and worthy candidate for someone looking for full size headphones for commuting.
