How do you find then :D i love my pair!

using them ever since I got them, mostly for youtube videos, but heard a few songs, even midi sound nice with these,

I don't find them hard to power, my 2 amps power them just fine, (on my kenwood they sound loud even with the volume at 9 o'clock),

but they didn't sound as nice on my iphone 6s, even at 10/16 volume, it got louder but the iphone couldn't power them properly

did you start using them out of the box, or did you burn them in?

Im not a burn in believer, just use my headphones/earbuds from day dot :) they definitely need some voltage to open them up. Use mine out of my phone and they sound dull and lifeless.

So true for the B320.
I can't think of any head gear I own that I can't get loud enough with my iPhone 6s. But loud enough doesn't mean you can hear the potential of the head phones.
The B320 need proper amping to bloom. Period.

I wonder if the same holds true for the B160 even with its lower impedance. Can anybody with the B160 chime in on how they fare out of a smartphone?

I owned the Red Demun, its great sounding and versatile. Runs easier out of portable devices etc. But i think the Blox B320 is better sounding overall. Comfort wise i find the MX500 shells better, the Red Demun's ridiculously stiff cable makes it annoying for a fit. The B320 has some minor cable noise, you will also need an amp or dap with some power for them.

I am curious if you find b320 to have a comparable midrange sweetness to red demun? i find red demun is not so extended on the bass or treble but reproduces the sound it makes so beautifully. I could buy a b320 if they stand up to the red demun in most or all ways.

I found the Red Demun to have awesome midrange sweetness, the B320 has a euphonic sound. It extends well on both ends. Thrown a lot of genres at it and it does great with them all.

Both are very capable earbuds. I just find the B320 fit/sound better overall imo. Fit is a big thing for me and the Demun failed that test.

Does the b320 share that midrange sweetness though? or are the mids of b320 less impressive? Thanks

Are those special order? From the Website I see Black w/ rubber cable. I don't see the White option w/ that Cable. How bad is the microphonic ?

There are no options and no pictures of the B320 on the site. You need to really get your info from here and other review sites as the BLOX site is not something they put much into :) Just the place to buy after you find out more elsewhere :)

Though I do see an ebay seller seemingly have brought some B160 into the US and is selling for the usual price.

from the site you have to click on the buy link and it takes you to a page where you can choose to buy either the b160 or the b320 via paypal

I bought them without knowing how they look like, but was confident that most earbuds sold use the mx500 shell

the cable looks nice on the b320 as its just 4 cables, 2 on each side with copper wiring wrapped around them in a see-through plastic, the microphonics it makes is because the shell sounds a bit hollow (as all are) but this sounds a bit more (like when tapping a fingernail on the shell with them in my ears) and the cable moving inside rubs against the plastic

I don't notice it when using them on my pc, and I don't have a portable amp to take them outside

also I just noticed on the site they have a tiny pic of the b320 on the lower corner

Im going off memory but the Red Demun mids are sweeter than the B320. I really like both imo, kinda want to nab pair of blue demuns :D
