Blox earbuds Discussion (TM7, M2C, ANV3, BE3/BE5/BE7, B160/B320)

Question's I ask are, how much better are these compared to the M2C's, if there is an improvement how much more ?, and does this improvement justify spending another $100.

How could anyone justify any purchase after the $29 M2c? It even makes the $25 MX580 looks positively a waste of money.

But then again, if you consider TM7 sounds better than PK1 for almost the same price and can go without an amp, then you'll know the asking price isn't outrageous at all. Yes, not nearly the bang of the buck as M2c., but that doesn't mean it is a bad investment at all.

I certainly think that Sennheiser MX980 were worth the price (I paid around $140 for mine) and I have paid much more for vintage Sony and Aiwa earbuds. Of course the price vs performance ratio gets much smaller when you pay $150 as opposed to $50, but still there can be a noticeable difference that is worth paying for.

I agree. I am really liking my M2C's so far, it just seems like the casing is a bit bigger than my Yuins and the fit isn't as good (although somehow they do seem to irritate my ears less after several hours of listening).

Yes, M2c is grayish while TM7 is black. Otherwise the two look almost the same. Oh, the cable feels slightly better on TM7 as well.
I have both the prototype and the final version of TM7 actually, and already put enough burn-in on both. Will review it soon, hopefully a day or two after launch, right around this weekend.

ClieO S  - Quick question,  how does the TM7 compare to the Ninewave studio pro earbud.......

Studio Pro is more of a warm, intimate and bassy sounding earbud. TM7 is a little on the warm side as well, but focus more on richness and speciousness of the presentation. I'll put TM7 ahead of Studio Pro easily.

I'm pretty sure it's a wonderful earbud, but I'm not sure I can forgive myself if I spend $150 on it, no matter the sound quality...

But then if some of you do, I should take the chance and ask if anybody is wanting to sell a pair of M2C's ?
I know I'm daydreaming but I can't help it, and it's worth asking ;-)

There are pairs of M2C's out there for sale, I posted a request two weeks ago and had several hits within a day. I was lucky and a kind Head-fier passed along a pair he received as a review pair from Blox free of charge. I am really enjoying them so far, I would say they are definitely worth looking for.

Hi everybody,

Just purchased a pair of Blox TM7 aswell.
I hope to receive them, to compare with my earbuds reference Yuin PK1 that I own for now many months.
I just hope they have more or at least same bass as a PK1 can do amped, that's my only fear, but since the TM5 was beating the PK1 in this domain (by seeings some reviews), I'am pretty sure to not be disapointed.
I will try to make a good compare review between PK1 and TM7, after properly burning at least 100 hours the TM7.

Ordered them yesterday night, but still not received any mail of confirmation (except paypal) from them. If nothing till tonight, I will send them a mail.

I would definitely be interested in hearing a PK1 vs TM7 comparison...

Will do with pleasure. I will compare them properly amped (with my FiiO E11) and unamped, with high quality source (Samsung Galaxy SIII and computer with my Soundblaster Hi-Fi card sound).

For information, I received this afternoon a mail from blox, they will send my TM7 on 13th august, meaning that I will need 10-15 days to receive in france, so if everything well I will maybe get them before the 25th if I'am lucky. Will put a candle on my night table every nights lol
