Hey all,

trying to figure out why my MPX3 doesn't work, and I think the fuse might be blown due to the faulty switch it had earlier. I took it out, and it's a little hollow glass, and the inside is all dark and cloudy. I'm guessing it's blown?

The fuse says "T2AL250V" - is that a common fuse? Where would I be able to buy it? I'm at school right now so I don't have access to a car, can't go to radioshack - would staples have it maybe? are they expensive?

Well, when I get new fuses, they're definetly not dark and cloudy, so unless its some strange type of fuse, I would guess that it's blown. Test it with a multimeter for continuity though, to be sure.

Sounds like it is blown. Unfortunately, Staples won't stock them. Radio Shack should, though, and there are plenty available online.

Also, you might want to figure out why the fuse blew in the first place. If it was a power surge or the faulty switch you mentioned, you should be OK. But if it's something else, you may blow another fuse.

Lots of places will have them if its what I am thinking of. Walmart, autoparts stores, etc. Probably not Staples.
