I know the reviews on the BL-05 have been less than stellar. But a BL-05 for $21.99 shipped to me in 2 days, plus Amazon’s return policy in case of QC defects? Shazam!

I actually would like to see what BLON is capable of if they don‘t try and keep the price below $50. How well can they design and tune an IEM in the $100 to $200 range? Of course such a product would not replace any of their current products, but it would be nice to not always hear the qualifier “for the price”.

If u can get a 2nd hand set, look for a BLON Cardinal/Bluejay. It was a predecessor of the BLON BL-03 that came out 6 months prior to it.

Much better fit, improved isolation, improved soundstage, slightly improved technicalities compared to BL-03. Similar tonality and timbre to BL-03, just with better subbass extension and a tinge brighter, but not fatiguing.
Though it was about $70ish USD first hand.

Either that, or u can try a Slater mesh mod with the BL-03, supposedly makes it sound close to the BLON Cardinal.

Exactly. The Cardinal/Blue Jay is the answer.

All they had to do was make another batch, instead of the BL-05 blunder. How these companies keep making these double facepalm moves time after time is beyond me...

How about a triple facepalm if they discontinue the BL03 b/c the BL05 is the ”upgrade” and replacement. That would a be a business ending devastating mistake.

Blon was BossHifi, right? Bosshifi has quite a few good and well-known products in the past before the BL03, so i don't think they'd be dead just because they discontinue the BL03.

Like a disco ball Bluetooth speaker from some fly by night brand you’ve never heard of, led cat ear headphones, etc. Stuff like that. The BL-05 was one of the most legit things I’ve seen on Vipon in a while.

Dynamic Ears I don’t think piezos sound bad at all, I was bummed they changed the 05. The **** pro is fantastic and a staple in my rotation. The 05 sounds great to me I could never get 03 to fit ever...hated its looks. The 05 fits me well and sounds great to me....I have Starfield, Diamond (kbear) also.....my thing is multiple BAs, I really like that sound like my T800, and latest addition Fearless S8F’s!
My current favorite is S8F by a nose...lol.

Does that mean driver is the same and only everything else is different? But then again, we wouldn't know unless someone harvests the drivers for comparison.
