BL03 is so good that i think it deserves a thread, also rumors that improved model in the future exist so lets keep the ball rolling.

UPDATE AS OF 15/01/20:

IF YOU READ FURTHER DOWN THIS THREAD AND STUMBLE ON QUESTIONS THAT THERE ARE DIFFERENCES IN SOUND BETWEEN THE BROWN AND SILVER COLOURED BLON, AND BETWEEN NEWER UNITS AND OLDER UNITS (DIFFERENT POUCH COLOURS), PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE ARE NO DIFFERENCE IN SOUND TUNING FOR THESE.

ANY SOUND DIFFERENCE YOU MAY PERCIEVE MAY BE DOWN TO INCONSISTENT QC (UNIT VARIATION). THANK YOU.

If you're in here looking at buying the blon bl-03, don't waste time, just buy it.

And if you like more bass add a nicehck DB3, and if you like soundstage and soaring highs, add the bqeyz bq3, and if you want something else like the blon, add the venture bonus ie, and add the TRN v90 for another excellent value. And while you're at it, get yourself some better tips and cables.

And, oh crap, you just spent $200....

Blon-03 is not like Oxygen. Is there sample variance?

I said they were very similar, with the BL-03 being warmer. The biggest difference between my graphs and Crin's is that my graphs don't show as big of a difference in the bass between the two. His graphs are more true to what I heard in that respect.

What is the soundport diameter of the BL-03?

Everyone says you need tips, so I'm hoping to order a few that at least I know will fit the Blons.

Well, it's rather personal and dependent on the shape of your ear.

To be fair, the new stock grey tips aren't that bad. But comfort-wise and sound-wise Sony MH755 tips are the best that I came across so far, even better than Spiral Dots. Unfortunately, you just can get those tips buying the Sony MH755 but it's so cheap, about $5-7. Also, you won't need any spacer or mod using them since they get a really secure grip on the nozzle.

Blon-03 is not like Oxygen. Is there sample variance?

Different chamber, different nozzle filter, BL-03 has 1 vent against 2 vents of Oxygen, yeah... it's not like Oxygen. Just the tuning and the driver using the same tech is similar.

But Crinacle has reported his version isn't flat at 400 Hz like most of FR graphs available out there and he was concerned his unit is slightly different because of that, but, the mids and highs peaks pattern are the same. The OP of this thread has 3 pairs and 1 one of them sounds less warm according to him, so who knows...

Yes my silver pair is more clean and less warm than my other two, i wonder if it is retuned or it is just unit variation, however all 3 pairs sound excellent though, just one of them is a bit different

It's a $30-40 iem. I'm really nitpicking a cheap iem. It's a good response still for it's price. Who knows how that response sounds? Harman isn't liked by everyone.

Come to think of it, I have not heard a precisely tuned Harman. Can we say Oxygen is the most close?

So this Blon 03 is the Monoprice 8320 of this generation?

I am curious someone to graph the 8320.
