You know how certain tracks on an album are your favourites because they simply touch you. I am talking very easy going music that completely relaxes you and makes you fall in love with life. This morning I heard:

Tape - Rideau - A Spire
Off The Sky - Gently Down The Stream - Down The Stream

Absolutely beautiful. Share your favs if you like..

Rachel's - First Self Portrait Series is a beautiful modern classical sounding track with piano and violin.

Also, Written From The Sky and On The Nature of Daylight by Max Richter are great. I think this theme was used in Shutter Island.

I have the "Trommeln In Der Nacht" soundtrack which I once bought out of sheer curiosity. It is so well recorded and lively executed that it sometimes even reminded me of King Crimsons "Red" (which is special to me).

Tru Blu, indeed and this thread seemed most fitting. The music he and his people/kollektief made was truly something special although the Dutch press was not too fuzzed about his work, I read a bit about it. I should delve into his works though. The Instant Composer Pool live is quite special.

Yes it was. I was watching Shutter Island, then... I've got that tune!
If you like Rachel's, listen to Rachel Grimes solo album Book Of Leaves and for this thread the track The Corner Room
