I've watched it a few times with friends. It can actually be pretty funny that way.

I like to watch it with the sound turned off and just read the "pop-ups". It's really funny that way!

Anyone see the installment last night about the farting girl? Actually, it was her second "Blind Date" appearance. On her first date, she had a penchant for passing wind; however, last night she "put a lid on it".

Turns, out she didn't like the guy she was with. The host surmised that she only releases gas if she's turned on...

Is the US or UK Blind Date?

The UK one has the scariest of hosts... Ugh

And I don't think in all the time its been on the air, that any of the couples have ever had a lasting relationship... what a flawed programme

Duncan, we're talking about the US version. The host seems like a nice guy. However, there are more "date's from hell" than one's that work out.

Hey, isn't that the way it is in "real life" anyway?

I remember one episode when the guy was a 26 year old bartender and the woman was a business woman and she was railing on him about how he was 26 and should be a rich millionaire by now. Talk about a train wreck wating to happen. There are really people out there like that.

My favorite was one where they went to this gym. (on a date? What were they thinking.) Anyway, they had those big balls that you do sit-ups on and the guy (a pretty buff dude as I recall) decided it would be funny to "playfully" throw his ball at his date. What he didn't realize was that she was about 5'3" and looked like she weighed around 90 lbs. Anyway, the ball knocked her to the ground. Injuring a woman on the first date is generally a bad idea.

And there was one when they went to a boxing ring. The guy out weighed her by about 60 70 pounds. He decked her. LOL. Boxing on a first date. You think he would have pulled his punches.
