I am considering the purchase of Grado RS1e headphones. I want a longer, XLR terminated, cable, and not one patched together with cable adapters and/or extensions. Therefore, it has to be attached, as is the stock cable. I could cut the included 15 foot extension and use that, but I wonder how a Moon Audio Black Dragon cable might sound. I have read positive reports of what it does for Focal Utopia, but every headphone combination is different. I don't know if the Black Dragon would make the Grado RS1e better or worse. Has anyone tried this combination, or perhaps the Black Dragon on the Grado RS2e or Grado PS500e which I believe would have a similar effect? Or, any other cable upgrade for the Grado Rs1e.
