Ok, so I just found out that I can sell my senns for 70 (which I plan to do) and afterwords will have 200 bucks.

Now tomorrow I am planning on buying some PK1s from a guy for 80, but I'm now wondering if I should just get some ER-4Ps instead for 180 or... yea.

So any ideas? Thanks.

Oh, and I have an amp to drive the PK1s, and I also have some Super.fi 5s also.

decide what sound you want and buy the phones that provide 'that' sound.

dont sweat the money, go for the sound.

if you try and save money and dont like the sound, you will be selling and buying again soon = pita.

A good condition PK1 for $80 is pretty much a steal. If you don't need isolation, I'll recommend PK1 first. You can always sell the SF5 later to fund the ER4P.

Thanks for posting, and about the "sound" comment from "what?", I wanted a clearer, more detailed sound and I read that the PK1s would be warmer.

So concerning to your comment, I think I'll get the ER-4Ps.
Isolation wouldn't be necessary, but it would help.
