I have put these samples up in the music forum for the last week or so, kelly recommended putting the post in this forum.. its true there isn't any music in them but there are recordings, which is why i thought it would be more suitable... Anyways I'll try putting them here..

This page will talk about it, its a safe bet on this site anyways but to truly enjoy these binaural recordings you HAVE to listen via headphones... for those that didn't know that

I made this quick page up to explain a little bit about them, and also link to the samples themselves... they are in MPC format which Zurg pointed out will probably restrict there exposure... I have put links up on the same page to decoders for nearly all platforms, as well as plugins for winamp (small and easily installed), to the new audio player foobar2000 which at 200k with no install, and no registry usage just plays MPC natively.. only for windows 2000 and Windows XP though.... basically i imagine everyone uses winamp, and the plugins for that are small, easily installed..

I may put a few samples up to show you why i am using MPC.. i havent compared with these samples between mp3, and mpc yet but I know of many occurences with my other normal music encodes where MPC is far far superior... I will probably start putting up samples in lower bitrates in mpc too, which means quicker downloads with better quality than anything mp3 can do (even 320k CBR mp3 is worse sounding on difficult samples, than 160k mpc)

Anyways its all about the samples themselves... I may upload mp3s for those who want to have an easier option, but i wont be doing this for all my samples, its a hassle, a space issue, and at the end of the day for such little effort you can be listening to far higher quality files..

You guys should definitely check this out if you haven't heard binaural before. His page and Quiet American (see the link on his page) really show off what binaural recordings can do. Somehow we have got to get the word out more about this so that someone may actually be tempted to offer music in binaural (which there is very little of presently).

Presently, Binaural.com (Binaural Source) has been bought out and isn't even taking orders. Binaural recordings cannot be searched for on Amazon (only the Pearl Jam cd comes up in a search). There is no binaural section at any music store I know of. And no headphone specialty shops--even the online ones we praise--stock any binaural recordings.

I am clearly a fan of this stuff and I have NO binaural CDs. What the hell?

Anyway, check it out. Understand why I'm fanatical about this and help get the word out.
