Do I need to know how to "bias" the WA6 when I roll the tubes?

Completely new to all this, but I know my tubes, I know my Mullard civilian date codes, yet I've not read in depth about biasing. WooAudio6 owners? Help?

no...i may be wrong, but jack said something to the effect that the WA-6 does not need bias adjusting. the best thing to do is ask him on his site. he usually answers within 24 hrs...

No, you can not bias it unless you took out the resistor used for that and put in another one. It is a self biasing amp, which most are of this type. Also the tubes are so close in spec from manufacture to manufacture there would be no need to bias though it would be nice to fine tube the power section of the tube but then a different level of knowledge and capabilities would be required.
