BGVP discussion thread DM7/ DM6/DMG and NEW BA series

Best tips you can use with the DM6 in my experience are the final type e . Give them a try

I will give those a go as well. Changing the tips has really transformed the DM6s for me, more so than changing the cable. I bought the KPE around the same time as the DM6 and, before, they were trailing the KPE by some distance. Now I think they are on a par and both are excellent iems that offer amazing value.

I use Sony hybrids to get the best bass.

Hmm how can the DM6 have too much bass. Bass amount is right, and sometimes it is not enough for me

I like bass as well, but it was too much of a good thing. I think the fact that we all have different ear anatomies really effects how we all hear iems. For example, I do not hear the spike people refer to at all.

I'm using Spiral Dots on both the DM6 and DM7. I've gone through a bunch of tips and finally got my hands on some of the Dots and they work the absolute best for me as well.
Spiral dots are great , but I prefer final e with the dm6.
With other iems I prefer spiral dots or spin fits

These look like real hybrid tips.

I think you can still find them on Amazon and EBay.

Note difference between Triple Comfort and Hybrid.

These look real.

I love chi-fi and I cannot lie. Picked up the Kanas Pro and DMG from Massdrop these past few weeks. Looking forward to comparing them with the IT01 which have been my go-to pair of IEMs.

Of these three, which stock cable is best to rotate for all of them? Or should I look into getting a different cable for all three?

I'm somewhat new to IEMs, but placebo will probably win out and I will think Kanas Pro > DMG > IT01 but we will see! Let's compare when July 7th comes around.

i bet the 2 are better then the IT01´s , i dont like them ... they are way to thin for my taste

I agree with you, I thought they had some great depth and soundstage, but in comparison to the T2 Pro, they are pretty thin (doesn't say much). So I'm sure the DMG and Kanas Pro will be quite an upgrade. It is a shame that I can't listen to the T2 Pro much more than 30 - 45 mins because they are pretty decent IEMs.

Just received a notification from Drop that my DMGs have shipped even though they weren't scheduled to until June 10th. Just wanted to update in case anyone got in on that drop.
