Beyerdynamic T51i cable troubles

Hello,
 
I have had a constant issue inside of the mic/button part of the cable run up, the solder keeps breaking even under gentle use.
 
I have had them warranty repaired twice and the problem has shown it's face again.
 
I have looked high and low for a proper guide for replacing the cable myself with a proper one, but I have had no luck.
 
Does anybody have any suggestions?  
 
(also, I am a fairly new user, so if there is a thread I didn't catch, I apologize for the spam)

Also, on a side note, since the pads are wearing out on mine, should I just order new stock pads? or are there better ones for this headphone?
