How does the connector fit in the cups? Tight as the org cable?

Think it’s more like Meze 99 cable
I was afraid to buy something wich don’t plug in cups.
My ibasso sr2 cable don’t plug it

Yes, I have hiss with the T5p.2 too so I'm not using that headphone in my desktop setup. Gain doesn't help. With other headphones I have hiss too but is a lot less and not very noticeable, like the Sony Z7M2 or Hifiman Ananda (here is more close to the very silent T1.2). For my surprise the Bayerdymamic Custom Game with 16 ohms is very quiet with the Burson C3X in unbalanced mode.

Still seraching for a new dac/amp.
Want a lightweight system.
The cobalt looks so nice in blue. Tiny.all in one.
But many says it is no good. Low power,much distortion. High cost!
Is that true? Or is it worth buying?

Low power is good for low impedance, moderate sensitivity headphone like 1.3.

Follow the power rating, don't spend a fortune fighting it.

How much power do it need? The manual says the G3 can handle 300mW.
An apple dongle is a litte bit to low.
My tr-amp is perfect. More than enough. But not so portable.also want someting without battery.

Depening on your Geo, Apple dongle may be artificially volume limited (In EU for instance for sure).

Not worth it for premium on the Apple dongle imo, there should be cheaper options for you.

I have a Fiio KA1 for iems and it actually did come to mind, but I have not tried it yet with G3. I will try it out this AM and confirm it can go nice and loud

KA1 has plenty of power for most masters I tried out, but I think I was able to briefly drive it to clipping at a high (but not crazy) listening level on a high dynamic range classical track. If you listen to really high DNR recordings or do EQ it might not be powerful enough, but for most scenarios it should be plenty. I'd give it a qualified rec, especially given you have a more powerful but less mobile option already...
