I am really impressed with the new Beyerdynamic Sould Byrd. I was looking for a new wired headset with decent sound and man I am impressed. Very comfortable, both fit and sound signature remind me of Xelento which I owned but this one is 70 Euro vs 900 Euro! Will be testing more, but so far out of Mate 20 X this is a clear recommendation.

Wow, this thing scales! Tried with Sony WM1A, LDAC streaming Spotify. I couldn't say it costs under 100$. Rather neutral but with some bass extension.

The only issue I have is a lot if microphonics with the cable which is not removable. The only workaround is to change L/R sides and wear the cable over the ears. Completely removes microphonics but the mic is also significantly further from the mouth.
