I will be using for gaming in the first place, but for music also. I listen to Heavy Metal, Hard Rock, Rock, etc, this kind of music. My soundcard is a ASUS Xonar DX. If money is a not a problem, which of these both headsets/headphones would be best for my needs?

If money is not a problem, imo the MMX300 is the best choice. It's overpricey a little bit but you always have a great mic on your headset and the design looks better too. Sorry for my bad english

That Asus Xonar DX doesn't seem to have a headphone amp built in, so you'll have to buy one if you want to enjoy these headphones to their potential.
