They're out for delivery on the UPS truck to my house right now. Though this isn't the first time I've listened to them, this will be the longest I'll have been able to listen to them. Will post impressions once I spent more time with them. I can't wait

FWIR... and by many accounts, the DT770/80 improves with burn-in and amplification. However, the PA2V2 would not have been my first choice for an amp.

My best recommendation is to read and post in the amp forums. But if you had to buy one right now, FWIR, I would suggest considering the SM Pro Audio HP4.

FWIW, i thought my 250 ohm dt770 sounded like trash compared to the hd650/hd600/sr225 and even the srh840

i have the dt-770 80ohm and the dt880

they sound really good...

mm may be they are both trash!!!!
i have nothing else other then those jvc harx700 and hd555 for compare
