I am looking for some replacement ear pads for my Beyerdynamic DT-931. Does anyone know if the DT-770 replacement pads fit the older DT-931?

They'll fit, but the DT990 pads are the appropriate replacement. They look the same, but have a different density of foam in them. The 990 pads are softer.

426.689 is listed as "Ear cushions pair, velour, for DT 531 /811/ 880 M/ 911/ 931/ 990/ 990 PRO/ IRS 690"

462.660 is listed as "Ear cushions pair, velour, for DT 511/ 770/ 770 PRO/ 801/ 831/ 901"

i just received pads ordered from headroom, which i think are advertised as 770/880 pads... they fit welll -- pry off the outer pastic ring with a small jeweler's screwdriver, and the new ones will be much easier to put on.

they made the headphones sound great -- with a bigger bottom. i got very excited and immediately tried to rewire them and screwed up one of the drivers. i left the cardboard product identifier at work, so i couldn;t say which model pads they are, but they were the only one headroom carried.

anybody know where i can get a driver (or matched set), or would anyone like to sell me their 931s? not sure the 990s would be a fitting replacement, but any suggestions are appreciated.
