Beyerdynamic Amiron Home (the new T90)

Hi,
I'm looking for tips for replacing the stock 3m cable with something around 1.5m and not so rubbery.
Ordered the Beyerdynamic 1.4m textile replacement cable, but was not at all impressed with the quality of the finish. Actually think I could do better if I made it my self self out of the original cable, some cheap sheating and shrink wrap. Sent it back without even plugging it in.

Forza Audioworks from Poland. Highly recommended.

There's a couple of places in the UK that seem decent. I've been looking to order one of these:

https://www.cosmic-cables.co.uk/product-page/mirage

My friend has also had a couple of cables from Custom Cans. He spoke very highly of them. You can find them on eBay. They also have a website:

https://customcans.co.uk/

I'm not sure about delivery to Norway, but I can't see why they wouldn't.

If you're looking for something much cheaper, I picked up one of these Ablet cables from Amazon. For the money it was actually half decent:

Ablet HiFi Cable 4-pin XLR Balanced Male to Dual 3.5mm male Compatible with Beyerdynamic T1 2nd, T5p Second Generation Headphones Silver Plated Replacement Audio Upgrade Cable https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07MH2MQ2D/ref=cm_sw_r_sm_apa_i_caYJFb4K7N0QQ?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

I'd like to add https://oidiosound.co.uk/ to this list! (no affiliation, just a happy customer)

They look great. Guess I found my new place for cables.

I only have one so far (single-ended 3.5mm cable for Sony MDR-7520), but I've been really happy with it.

These are currently on sale at Newegg for about $320 (USD). Wondering if I should get these, the HE5XXs that just came out, or the Fidelio X3s that just went down to $200 (a bit of music + FPS gaming). I'm kind of going for imaging, positional accuracy, but also something with more bass response than my HD58Xs. I couldn't complain much about the treble, but felt there was more potential for soundstage.

Amiron Home all the way. In general I'd say reviews of the X3 (that I've seen), have recommended people stick with the X2. I love my Amiron Home. I also use them for music and gaming. They're great with stock pads, but if you want something that offers more clamp (and possibly some extra soundstage) then you can get the DT 1990 Balanced earpads. I regularly switch between the two pads as it's wonderful with either. $320 is a really really good price.

Yeah, that's a great price. Grab them! I bought a used pair (and not even in particularly fantastic condition) for £200 (about $260). And I'd do it again in a heartbeat!
