thanks for the info.  so my guess is they don't isolate at all?

The guy said, I think 18 db, or some thing like that.
They are closed cans, as you can see from the description, and they isolate quite okay.
But it could be better. I heard still some noise from around me, as i turned them up.
I would guess they aren't really suited for city traffic, or metro, if you don't want to turn them really loud.

It's funny how they make such a big deal about their "Tesla technology", but all that really matters is that they voice them well.  Hopefully they won't go for the usual bright signature.

My main interest is in the 32ohm version, the hole in my collection is a high quality portable. Lot going on at the moment with the K550, SRH-940 and this all popping up at around the same time. A full sized portable shoot out on its way...

heh. +1 . The other thing is the damping/cups material. T5p had a weird diffused/hall-like feel to it (aside from being briight).

Yeah sometimes I wonder if these companies have separate people develop each part of the headphone without being able to talk to or confer with each other.  Nice looking frame + nice damping + nice high tech driver does not a good headphone make.

But hopefully they'll sound good in addition to having good magnet structure.

heh, see, IDK, maybe T5p's sound sig was intentional like the avguide review suggests (r-shaped FR and relatively accentuated highs as sort of 'forced details'). That said, still not a big fan...
