I tried a couple of searches and came up empty.
Does anybody make a replacement cable for the DT250? I am so tired of this coiled peice of crap with the plug so big it hits my shoulder.
I can't even find a factory cable. I thought I could modify one if I had an extra. I hate to muck up the only cable I have.

Any ideas?

I have a pair of the dt250-80 I really like them but I also hate the coiled cord. IMO the cord is their only down fall. As to your question, I don't think anyone makes a straight cord for the dt250's. You might be able to get an extra coiled cord for a diy job from headroom or beyerdynamics. Have you talked to them? I deal with the problem of the coiled cord by using a headphone extention cable. In theory the signal degrades as the cable gets longer but in compairing the beyers with and without the extension there seemed to my ears to be little if any dfference. I will have to give this another try and see if that opinion still holds. I would rather not use extensions if possible but I guess it's better than having a cable that doesn't reach your seating position. This is why I prefer noncoiled cords. It's to bad that many of the nicer headphones like the beyers use coiled cords.
