So I'm deployed at the moment. When I get one I'll need a new phone and its audio quality will play a big part on my choice. Currently I have a 1st Gen Galaxy S Captivate. Great Wolfson chip. I also have Motorola Droid RAZR which I'll give to my nephew for gaming.

My main portable DAP is a 5.5G iMod with a Fiio E17 amp. But out of convenience it'll be nice to have decent sound out of my phone. Are there any upcoming phones with decent audio quality? Thanks guys.

currently, some of the best ones are lg v10, meizu pro 5, letv max, letv 1 pro, htc 10, etc.
 
unfortunately, neither apple nor samsung is interested in audio quality. so I don't see them making decent audio phones in the future.
