Better and deeper bass - Futuresonics Atrio M5 or Triple Fi 10?

Loving my Atrio M5 and it's awesome bass depth and tone, but I can't help but wonder whether there is an IEM with better bass out there. I'm eyeing the TF10 as a possible candidate for a future upgrade, but could someone confirm this for me? The Atrio M5 uses a single dynamic driver, which is known for creating deeper bass tones, but how does the triple armature UE TF10 fare in comparison (bass-wise, in quality, not just quantity).

This is a question more for people who've used both, not for someone who just assumes that one is better than the other because of the price difference.

Bump. So nobody's tried both of these?

I have but with nearly a year in between. From memory I would say that the TFP has the better quality bass as I found the M5 to be a bit wet and unfocused but definitely fun. As to quantity I'm not really sure but think that the M5 might actually win here although that may just be due to the character of the bass rather than there actually being more of it.

I own both the Triple-Fi's and the M5.

I suspect you would be dissapointed in the kind of bass you get from the Trips. The Atrios do go very low , whilst the bass from the Triple -Fi is certainly present , but far more natural sounding.

Apologies for the tumbling keyboard!

To add to what I was saying:
The M5 bass is , to my ears , pretty amazing in terms of its bass depth and tone . When called for (eg. dub , drum and bass etc.) it reproduces those kind of lower frequencies incredibly well . All the time still managing to make the bass sound very natural.....no matter how low it goes.

The Triple-Fi's are completely different , bass wise.
They certainly don't have that kind of depth and tone. However , the bass is definitely (to my ears) quite prominent and tight (if you get the correct seal.....many users don't it seems). There is a certain amount of bass slam (when called for) but nothing like the M5/M8 experience.

The TripleFi's continue to amaze me in terms of soundstage and detail . However the bass may seem disappointing if you're used to the sheer physicality of the Atrios (fairly unique) bass reproduction ......and hoping to at least match/surpass it , by moving up to the more detailed Trips .

I really only miss the Atrios bass on certain recordings now , as I find the Trips are simply a far better all-round listening experience for the majority of my music .

Ideally though , I'd quite like an 'Atrio - UniqueBass' switch to be DIY'ed into the TripleFi cable

. Just for when I do feel the need

I found the Atrio bass much more involving than the TFPs, as well as having better extension. The TFP bass seemed to me to be a little too boosted in the midbass, and that was it. I should say that I never compared the two head-to-head, but I just didn't find the TFPs at all appealing for their price. Considering they're 2-3 times the price of the Atrios, it's an easy decision.

I've owned the Atrio's in the past and currently own the Triple-Fi's.

For me i much prefer the tighter bass from the TF's. Also as Subfocus said the overall sound from the TF's imo is better than the Atrio's.
