so ive been usings Senns for quite a while now, amped 600s, 580s, px100s, etc
and I love the sound, but I have to know what I'm not experiencing in Grado. What's the easiest way to try out a pair of Grados for an extended amount of time (as in more than going to a meet or shop)

Ive seen that headphone.com offers a 30 day return policy, but what I really want is the MS1s as my first experience. If I end up liking them I will probably upgrade multiple times until I reach what I want.

are there other options? any Ideas? should I buy a pair flat out here and try to sell it later?

To be absolutely honest with you, Grados generally have a rather low resale value around here. It would be best to buy them from a dealer with a 30 day guarantee and return them if you don't like them. I think the SR80 is a good starting point. The SR80 have the bowls, which kinda introduces you to the raw feel that Grados have on your head.
