Post headphones that sound like they cost twice as much as they do! Any price range is fine, just post headphones that sound significantly better than average headphones at the same price range.
 
I'll start, Superlux HD668B. No, it's not the best headphone ever, but holy crap does it sound good for a pair of cans that cost less than a pair of jeans. Bang for your buck thread, go!

I bought my D5000's for about 400 euros; was a struggle to find them at that price. That said, my Mad Dog cost me about half of that and I find myself preferring them over the D5000's for a lot of things.

Q701s get my vote. After hanging around with the $1000+ category a bit I find myself more than happy with them as my primary headphone.

Fischer Audio FA-011. Are they perfect? No. but for $100 they sound great IMO

Creative Aurvana Live!  I got mine for $55 a few months ago when sales on them were more common.  I use them more than my other headphones combined.
