Hi I have had my Shure SE110 for awhile and they are starting to go bad and I was looking to upgrade and was wondering what you guys think would be the best way to go. I listen to a variety of music, classic rock, electronic, country, hip-hop. I have seen that amazon has the Ultimate Ears Super Fi 5vi for $65 and was wondering if those would have a similar sound? My budget is not much higher then that($70). Also I prefer to wear my headphones over there ear to. Thanks

I bought the 5vi's I must say they are way better then my SE110's love the sound.

The UE are nice. But, for a cost is just a bit higher than that, I'd go for the Klipsch S4i.

If you don't need the inline iPod/iPhone compatible controls, I'd recommend the Etymotic Research MC5 for US$80.

I own the SuperFi 5s and while they sound decent they just fail to impress me with their dark sound. It seems you like a wide genre of music, for that I can only reccomend the HiFiMan RE0s, the are extremely detailed for the price and work will most genres of music.
