Greetings all - I'm looking for some advice on the best sub-$100 earphone/IEM for classical music.  I've seen lots of recommendations for the ER-4P, but that's out of my price range for now.
 
Most of my listening is done around the house, so blocking ambient noise is not the highest priority. I will mostly be listening to high bit-rate (320kbps) MP3s from my 7th generation Ipod classic. I do not have an amp and would prefer not to buy one at this time.
 
I appreciate any advice!

etymotic research hf5 would be right at the 100 dollar mark and good for classical music representation, and you wouldn't need an amp for it.

I 2nd the HF5 as well as the MEE A151's.

Thanks.  I should have mentioned I'm not 100% sold on the deep insertion aspect of the etys. Any thoughts on a less intrusive option?

get some comply foamies or shure olives and you'll be fine. you won't find anything better unamped for classical music at that price range.
