I want to know the best sounding mp3 player. I need an mp3 ONLY for music. Everything else is just extra. I need it to be drag and drop. I listen to hip-hop, classical, TECHNO, and a lot more. So it needs to be versatile. Recommend me the best SQ mp3 player.

Not exactly. I would like the BEST sounding mp3. The whole point of an mp3 player is to listen to music, which is exactly my needs but I'm trying to figure out the best one to buy. I had the D2 which got stolen but I started reading again and I keep hearing about bass roll off and how the sansa clip is better and now I'm all confused.

Pretty much most current MP3 players sound good, unless you buy a generic made-in-china-cheapo player. Getting a good headphone is more important.
If you like bass, get a Sony player. If you need gapless MP3, get an iPod. If you want a small player, get the sansa clip.

The Sansa Fuze sounds similar to the Clip. A bigger screen and expandable memory won't hurt

Oh and yeah, drag and drop enabled! flac and ogg support for it just came out.

I think the best sound player is samsung's YP-P2.
if you used samsung's any player,
you already know that samsung's palyer has excellent sound quallity.
DNSE 2.0 for superior sound quality,
so it can be reproduced the way it was intended through sound personalisation,
user equaliser setting, bass extension.

this URL is samsung's web site,,

I hope i could help you!!!

Korg MR-1. It sounds great and has flexibility to play very high resolution formats.

Yes, the Clip has been able to play OGG files for a while, but in the last update ~ 10/2 they added the ability to play FLAC on the Clip and to play both OGG and FLAC on the Fuze..

Not true, Good sound is good sound. And bad is shoddy.

I think what your trying to say is they all sound the same more or less.
