best sound for under $300 (newbie)

ok, thanks everyone for the input!

at first i was thinking about getting the sr80s, then i thought why not spend a little more and get something better, so i was gonna get the sr125s, then i saw the 225s for $159... sweet!, then i said "ok im getting the 225s, why not go for the 325s?" but the price difference got me thinking ... so after much tought I am going for the 225s and never ever think about how the 325s may sound ... hopefully...

I was going for the 80's at first, so I think that getting the 225s instead is a wise decision...after all its not like i have money to burn...
