Hey y'all !!
I am going mostly electrostatic these days and thus am likely selling my lovely Cavalli Liquid Gold(less than a year old) but still want a really nice SS amp for when I DO listen to my non-Estat cans. I just can't justify having such an incredible amp that isn't getting used like it should anymore. Looking for folks opinions on best (preferably balanced) SS amp around $2k. Much tks.. Anyone wanna buy my Cavalli? (with tears in eyes)

I visited the EC website. Do you know if the Black Widow can be ordered balanced configuration? I THINK that's what they are saying but then it also mentions that it is SE and the 4pin XLR on the front panel is SE and just for convenience.

sorry.. misread it. It talks about an optional balanced INPUT.. not balanced output.. It is SE

The Bakoon HPA-21 is an amazing amp, incredible soundstage, black background, battery powered, reference grade, sublime. I think its in the upper 2K's though.

Tks..very interesting current driven design. Enjoying 6moons review. much appreciated.

They did talk about buying a balanced converter for $200-$300 extra that would make the BW accept XLR balanced outputs.
The difference is very small, but it was said, it does increase the sound quality.
