I'm looking for recommendations for a portable headphone that will be used solely with my Galaxy S4 playing FLAC audio files.  I'm looking for something to fulfill the Rock/Metal and Hip Hop Genre.  I love bass, but don't want something sloppy that will overpower the mids and highs.
 
I've read that the HD25 and M50 are a good choice.  I need something comfortable, as I plan to use these on long plane trips.  I've had past experience with the Grado RS2i and they hurt my ears so much I couldn't use them, also the bass was too lacking for my tastes.  
 
Any ideas are greatly appreciated, as I have access to a great headphone shop that I could go and test at.

I can't comment directly but I'm looking forward to hear the MDR-1R and/or the SoundMagic HP-100. I listen to rock/metal too (among other stuff) and they seem to fulfill my requierements in terms of bass while maintaining good details and comfort.
