best Portable amp for Audeze LCD-XC? i have a Cayin C5 just wondering if there is something pairs better with them?

It’s more transportable but when I had the XCs they sounded amazing with the ifi iDSD BL.

I think a price qualification for that question might be in order.
I had a chance to Listen to the Chord Hugo 2 portable amp/dac and was thoroughly impressed. ...for nearly $2,400 I would expect to be impressed.

You might be able to find the older version of the ifi iDSD micro (silver) for around $250-300 on the used market. Maybe less. Their price plummeted when the BL came out. It is still a fantastic amp.

I would recommend going with the Mojo... it sounded really nice on the XC at the NYC CanJam... Its a bit over your range but, it is expandable to work via the Poly (a pretty neat future add on).
