Hi, can you recommend me players, which:
have warm sound signature
can drive full sized headphones without amp
have USB DAC function
?
What i have already had or tried and why i didn't like them:
Fiio x3 1st gen - one of my first high res players..not sure how it sounded
Sony A15 - not enough power for big headphones- bloated bass without texture
Astell JR - warm, fun, musical, but laggy, low resolution display and not working USB DAC function in Windows 10
Fiio x3 2nd gen - muffled, boring
Fiio x5 2nd gen - better clarity and detail over x3, but not musical or fun
Fiio x7 - too big for portable use
Astell AK120II - great sound but too pricey
Smartphones - not musical, not enough power for full sized headphones
few ideas:
AK70? - it's mostly described as warm and fun and similar to JR
Cayilin i5? - great reviews out there, warm tonality, lot of power for hungry headphones
Fiio x5 3rd gen? - great expectations here, but im afraid it will be on analytical and cold side as both x5 before
Fiio x3 1st gen? - maybe go back to good old wolfson dac? afraid it will be outdated though
