best place to buy Koss Porta Pros

Like the title states where is the best and cheapest place to buy Koss Porta Pro's?

Buy the KTXPRO1, it's uses nearly the same drivers as the PortaPro's. So it sounds nearly the same and is half the price.

I've seen them on aBay for $15 new.

Hi everyone, I'm new to Head-fi, and hope I will enjoy my stay here.

I got my PortaPros off Buy.com a while back, but Amazon seems to have the best prices on (new) Portapros right now.

Yeah thats what I found. I guess thats the best price, I was searching through and found that some people got it for $20 and thought maybe I could be lead to the right place, guess not. Thanks though.

Well I paid $19.99 for my Porta Pros so I'm one of those paid $20 posters, but I've had mine for over 20 years. I did buy the Radio Shack KTX1pros for $9.99 last week though.

I've got two pair of Porta Pros that I've had for a very long time. I've gone through countless expensive headphones that I've sold or don't use. I've been through three sets of pads on the Porta Pros and they've had more use than all the other headphones I've had combined. Why? Well, they're portable.

Does the ktx1pros sound just like the portapros?
Are they more comfortable?

Nope. They'll sound more like ksc75 since they share the same driver.

Yes, all three have incredibly similar drivers/performance.
