Hello, Im new to this site but i was wondering what the best overall headphones would be for around $250. I've done a lot of research on this but it seems that there is no positive answer. I have been looking into the Audio-Technica M-50s and Beyerdynamic dt770. I also would be listening to them for around 4 hours a day so comfort is a big thing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

In a market with as many choices for around that price point, there honestly is no overall best.  We'd need more priorities from you.  So far I got:

Comfort alone, DT770 is well above M50.

Best headphones around $250 is probably HD25-1 ii 
 
But then we can argue.

Sound quality is a very big thing, durability is too. The genres of music are rock, acoustic, some hip-hop, some classical. Sorry for not being very specific.

It's kind of like a tie between Aaiai TMA-1 and HD 25-1 for me.
