I need to buy suitable headphones (over the ear) under $50. I commute to work on my bike, so I guess I'll need a pair with a decent noise cancellation. I'll be using it with my cellphone.
However, I dont want to compromise on the sound quality. Need something with great clarity and bass.
I dont understand much about headphones or audio equipments, so please make it easier for me to grasp.

I've read some reviews and shortlisted a few but cant really decide..
Superlux HD681, Superlux HD668, Koss PortaPro, Sony MDR-NC7, JVC HA-RX700, The Monoprice 8323 Premium..

So please shortlist it down to 2 of them, so that i can decide.. any other suggestions also welcome.. like i said, great sound clarity & thumping base (best under $50) and with some noise cancellation (if possible).

I mostly listen to EDM (house & progressive) and soft rock occasionally.

Cheers!

If you want noise isolation, then the Porta-pros are out. They're leakier than a sieve.

I read somewhere that the JVC HA-S400 is better than JVC HA-RX700 for the same price. I can't say because my pair hasn't arrived yet. Maybe you should also look into it

I thought I would need one with noise cancellation to eliminate some traffic noise.. Although I dont know much about headphones. So pls advise..

What about the Superluxs. very inclined to buy them..
I've just seen the HD661, HD531 & HD631..And i love their design. And I read their sound quality is awesome too..
Which ones are better???

Don't use headphones/earphones while riding your bike.  You can't hear your surroundings and it may cause accidents.
But if want to listen to your music while riding, I recommend an open-type headphones but they wont isolate that much and they leak.
As much as possible, refrain from listening while riding your bike.
