Here are my choices (based on how much my rapidly depleting bank account will allow me to buy):

Sennheiser HD-457
Sennheiser HD-212 Pro
Sennheiser HD-202
Koss PortaPro

Which one is the most comfortable which one has the best sound? I will be using it on my PC when I watch movies, listen to rap music (primarily instrumentals), and play games.

Thanks

Not necessarily clip-ons, more like this guy ->

and NOT like the traditional over-ear headphones as in this

Basically, I want a nice closed set of headphones that sounds good for under $50

BrooklynRick, thanks for the suggestion on the Koss set. I REALLY like this concept of a lifetime warranty on their headphones, it's a VERY nice thing to have. Reading over some of the reviews, and looking at the sheer bulk of the unit though, is making me run away.

1.0 Pound???!!!! Honestly, do they hurt after prolonged use? I have a set of Sony monitors that my brother uses during recording, but I can't get the model (cause he put them God knows where, LOL) They sound great, but they hurt my big ears, because the padding is too stiff.

Does the padding on the R80s hurt?

Peace

Not really, since the pads are so big, the weight/pressure of the relatively "heavy" phones is spread out among the surface area of the pads, so they are not in the least bit uncomfortable due to the weight of 1 lbs. May get kinda hot after a while, but just about all headphones of that style do, so its not really that big of a deal.

You might want to give the Philips HP170 ($20 at Target) a try. They are nice sounding closed phones that are quite comfortable. The beauty is if you don't think they are worth $20 you can take them back.

of the ones you listed, I'd recommend the portapros overall. But if you need closed I found my friend's 212pro to be pretty decent. Personally, I feel that most headphones under the $50 mark spare the ksc35/50, porta/sporta pro, sr40, and mx500 suck. Save up for a V6.

They aren't completely bad, but worth more like $1. They add a little bit of isolation and some big, ugly thing sticking out of your ear canal and add a nice (I mean this sarcastically of course) hollow sound to your earbuds. I'd steer clear of 'em.
