Hi all,

Noble IEM's obviously intrigue me based on the consensus as well as their absolutely stunning, unparalleled looks.

I had a look on their website, but thought I'd like some more opinions on which ones of their customs would be comparatively more mids focused. Amazingly smooth, detailed, mids, with an all round solid balance between transparency and boldness is what I'm after.

If it's of any help, the clarity of the W1000x highs and the smoothness and focal point of the highs of the e-q5 IEMs are the highlights of those two pieces of gear for me.

Appreciate the help!

Well given that N5 and N8 are supposed to be more on the V-shaped side maybe N4 as you haven't listed any bass requirements.

thanks for the reply. I suppose I didn't expect the bass to be "bad" at all so didn't write anything down for that. As long as it extends all the way and has presence that doesn't diminish the mids or highs I'd be happy.

Well, definitely bad is not the word I would use but N4's bass is more on the neutral side and rolls off a bit at the bottom. N6 has better extension and goes all the way down. Its bass is more boosted leading to a slightly more laid back presentation but N6 still sounds mid-centric and a bit bolder. N6 is a touch darker with lesser upper treble emphasis but generally both N4 and N6 while having quite energetic lower treble are on the polite side at the top.
