This is why I really like amps like the RKV with its 2 headphone jacks. That, and the Hurricane extension cables. I've found that pretty much any music works well with the R-10's. Just put them on her head and she's up for whatever you might have in mind... then switch to some other headphone (you name it, it doesn't matter which one) and she instantly says, "Hey, just what do you think you're doing down there anyway?!@!$%!" Seriously, with the R-10's on her head, she won't even know what hit her... well, not at first.

when it comes to headphones...probably use the mdr-F1m they're so open, it counts as speakers.

and for the music....as many others before said...depends on the mood, person

for quiet: though a bit cliché i'd go for norah jones, and for non-cliché i'd say charlie haden

for jazz haters: norah jones lol, dido, sting (all this time -album)

but the really good stuff are these electric, lounge, ambiente stuff like buddha bar, hotel costes and that kind of stuff.
i guess cafe del mar is ok, too, for this purpose.

Nope, I just listened to 2 of his songs:

The vocals were lower, the music was slower, more jazzy and less funky. (It wasn't funky at all if I remember right)
