Im going crazy and i definetely dont want to spend my money in something i might like little or not at all..!
so i thought of the other way round, purchasing a "cheap" headphone for my normal usage.
So its either v6's,px200's etc.
I want something comfortable (long lasting listenings),good at hard music, and generally good on everything.
Portability is also a plus,so is looks.
Really dont know tho.
can u help?(thread no.5 seeking help and getting more confused

I hate to say this because I hate when people tell me this but you can use the search function. But to answer your question i would go with the Koss KSC-35. You will not be dissapointed. It is portable, can play all music, looks (depends on your taste), and is very cheap. Search the forums for the Koss KSC-35 and you will see all the positive threads out there for this headphone. I hope this helps.

it sounds like you want it all but don't want to pay for it

if i were you, i would find a store [or three] and go do some listening and looking.

you've armed yourself with enough knowledge from this site, now go forth!

If you've already read over fifteen threads comparing these various headphones, then you already have more than enough information. Just make a decision.

here are my recommendations based on application:

-portable open cans - KSC35 or KSC50. you cant go wrong with either imo. but the KSC35 definitely has a bigger following.

-non-protable open cans - Grado SR60. what more can be said about these? search the forums, they're awesome.

-portable closed cans - PX200. pretty much your only choice. i have a pair and find them to be very midrange oriented, the bass and high end is still there, but not very emphasized. good overall cans.

-non-portable closed cans - sony V6. never heard these, but everyone loves em.

ok, there ya go. you can do searches on those for more info as to how they actually sound, but those pretty much represent the absolute best for their application in their price range (debateable, of course

my pick of the bunch? KSC35. YOU CAN NOT GO WRONG WITH THE KSC35. it can be found at koss.com, i think they ship in europe.

audioreview.com might have some reviews on these cans, but take some of the reviews with a grain of salt, as many of the reviews are written by non-audiophiles. not that that's bad, but they just have trouble sometimes putting the sonic characteristics into words. and there are MANY bassheads

ok, in your last post you seem to be leaning towards the closed cans since you're not sure if you can find the kosses.

narrowed down to just those two cans, the PX200 and the V6, i would take the PX200 if only because it's the only one i've heard. but these two cans are completely different styles. the V6's are very emphasized on bass, many consider them too boomy, but most still like em. the PX200's on the other hand, are completely love-or-hate. i love em. they have a VERY balanced sound, the bass doesn't overrun the midrange, the midrange doesn't overrun the highs, etc. this means that they do sound weak in direct comparison with say, the KSC35's. but it's a nice change when the 35's get too boomy and muddy. i have zero listening fatigue with the PX200's due to this balance. also, i haven't had any problems with the ear cup placement like some have. and they DO offer a good amount of isolation.

hope this helps.

I compared the V-6's directly to the Sennheiser HD-280's, and vastly preferred the 280's. Much smoother frequency response, less grainy, tighter, more natural bass. The 280's did have a bit of low treble emphasis in the beginning (but are nowhere near as bright as the V-6's), but that has smoothed out very nicely now that I've been using them for 6 weeks pretty hard. Only downside w/the 280's is they have a big, dorky looking headband.

Go for either the Sennheiser MX500 or the Koss KSC-35. Best headphones you can get for under $30.00. You can find a good review in the headphone reviews section.
