Best Ipod (Your Opinion)

I like the 4th gen dessign but don't like the non-video screens.

4G 60/40GB Photo. Sure they are a bit chunky. But such a great price for something that clearly is superior the Video in all ways except thinness and video. Hands down the best. 2G Nano would be my pick if the amp wasn't so weak. Its really nice looking and 8GB of storage is perfect for an iPod that isnt meant for the full library (you only have to swap out for new albums every couple months cause you can fit enough selection that you wont get that bored fast). Yet the level is way too low.

My vote is for the 1G nano. It's actually the only iPod I really like. I love the minature iPod design. Although the 8g 2G nano is very tempting.... with gapless, long battery life and search function... I don't like the design as much as I do with the 1G nano.

I'll vote the 3g full size ipod... I loved the look of the buttons. The 4g is most likely the best function wise.

I don't mind the 1g Shuffles either, they just sounded so good for their size. If you could pick one up now, there definetly worthy.

I'm gonna go ahead and say 5G. I had a 2G and had no excitement to upgrade cause 1) no one had color and 2) the ipods were not much thinner. The 5G is the first to have color (standard) + offer a slim profile in one package.

The only reason I'd upgrade again in the near future is if they offer wifi or an FM tuner...or if there's some amazing change in design (which I doubt).

Another vote here for the Video 80GB i still marvel at the fact its 80GB and ive had no issues with it at all. Id only upgrade now if they offer larger hardrive and maybe wifi bluetooth. Would also like the idea of all screen touch screen similar to some of the new phones ie Sony Ericsson W950i and the Samsung E900. That would be cool a touchscreen clickwheel

I was going to say 2G nano (aluminum, gapless, flash based), but its whinning/high pitch noise problems is definitely a quality control issue.

Credit to iPod 5.5G for the much improved Video Playback. I loved watching music videos through them while I owned one.
