Best IEM tips?

None for me - had to get custom molds made
Seriously starting to think about getting eartips done for each individual iem I've got/get. Wouldn't be that much more than three packs of comply in the uk as it is and would save mucking about :) :frowning2:

Sedna EarFit Light Short is my favourite
I have a very average ears with straight short canal. So universal monitors usually feels like wearing a custom. And with this tip it's the most comfortable so far, and the wider hole + short length allows for clear transmission, clearer than otherwise

Hey, just a heads up about the differences between the Sony Hybrids that you get from Aliexpress and the OG one. I got the OG via a forward service from Japan and there are some differences:

vv.jpg

Aliexpress clone has the stem more translucent; the green color is a bit darker; the top-umbrella is flat whereas the original is more rounded; material-wise it's less rubbery. Sound-wise it's less sub-bassy but overall very similar.

Since, there are a lot of clones out there, you can find the original Sony hybrids in 2 packs, the EP-EX10 ($10-15) which is a pack with SS, S, M, and L tips and the EP-EX11 ($7-8) which comes with 2 sizes of your choice. I got the clone on Aliexpress for ~$3.50 and it came in a pack with 3 sizes S, M, and L.

I like them better than the Final E and Starlines for narrow bore tips type, definitely they worth a try if you're looking for a bassier tip.

Very nice tips
I have a pair stolen from a T3 :)

So the small Ikko tips ended up being uncomfortable for my smaller ears canals. When I ordered them I thought they were 11.2mm which would have been closer to my ideal size.

A couple days ago I came across the Misodiko tips which are a similar design but their small and large size tips are just a bit smaller. They're also available on Amazon US or AliExpress. I've ordered them in small to try.

Ikko tips: S 11.5 | M 12.5 | L 13.5
Misodiko: S 10.9 | M 12.4 | L 13.0

Well, these Misodiko type tips finally showed up from AE. Unfortunately sizing isn't 11mm but 12mm O.D., which means just like the Ikko tips they're uncomfortable for me.

Nice tips, just wish they were smaller.

My Sugru customized Spinfit tips are the absolute best tips I've used, and I have to say that I also prefer them even to my custom in-ear monitors.

Given the fit and sound quality I can achieve with this hack, I don't ever see myself purchasing customs again.

Comply aren't bad in terms of comfort, but they are nowhere close to these in terms of durability and sound quality. And, I hated having to replace the Complys regularly. These will definitely last much longer.

Yup I’m gonna try that for sure

Hi, Found out today I was a proud member of the big ear club! I was wondering if anyone had meauserments of the Final E in LL. I can’t seem to find this info. Or if not, how big they are compared to the large spiral dot and sedna, both 14mm. Thanks

Thanks, what a cool forum. Yeah that might work. My 13.5mm Starlines are a bit small, but these alone or with a little foam in them should work. I also realized I could buy the e1000s for 10$ more than the tips, kinda exciting.

I bought from them a couple weeks ago. Spent 30 USD and they don't even give you a tracking number for your shipping. So I don't know when I will be getting them. Had I've known I wouldn't have bought there.
