Best IEM tips?
Jun 23, 2020 at 6:08 PM Post #796 of 3,226
The Earrbond tips arrived but they are too small. I can't get a seal. This is with their largest "standard" set.

I am now on Sedna's. They are the same as the Final Type E, but with a larger diameter hole in the middle. They sound a bit better on the Tia Fourte, and they feel the same as the Final. Will try the Tennmak.
I've got Sednas on the way too, and that was my logic for buying them: "Look Like Final with Wide Bore". None the less - I'm pretty certain I've found my new tips for the majority of my IEMs with these Tennmaks. Hope they work out for you. Shipping was pretty quick too.

I'm really enjoying the AZLA Sedna Earfit, I've tired all 4 versions and multiple sizes. The ML EarFitSoftShort is perfect for me. I have experience with Spiral Dots ++ (not the original ones though) and various SpinTips. Also still have a bunch of Monster SuperTips in gel/foam.

So, I go and say I think I like the new JVC tips and Azla comes back real quick :)

Aiming at the best sound that AZLA thinks, it analyzes the external auditory canal of 788 people, achieves both sound quality and fit, and it is a big hit, the already released "Sedna Earfit™" series. "SednaEarfit™ XELASTEC" aims to achieve a high level of sound quality and fit at the same time as the SednaEarfit series, while the sound quality remains the same, with the intention of further improving the fit. Was developed by. The material is a safe and high quality thermoplastic elastomer (TPE: Thermal Plastic Elastomer) that has been approved by the US FDA (Food and Drug Administration) of KRAIBURG TPE, a worldwide manufacturer. By making the most of the material's characteristic of being easily deformed by heat, the shape of the umbrella part softens and gradually changes due to body temperature when the earphone is worn on the ear, and a superb fit that sticks is obtained. Since the shape changes and fits to the ear, the burden on specific parts of the ear canal is reduced and it can be used comfortably for a long time. In addition, unlike urethane foam material, which also changes shape to fit the ear canal, it has a high durability.

Just putting this here too. Looks interesting, heat sensitive TPE tips.

I ordered a set of misodiko Mix460 ear tips. They look like Mandarin copies.

I’ll let you know how they are once I receive them.

Where did you order them from?

Thanks! I just ordered a set on Amazon, to try. I’d rather not have to order Symbio tips internationally if not needed.

Well this doesn’t sound too good:

That‘s a useless review IMO. He’s more mad about purchasing all three sizes of ear tips. I’ll take a chance.

Yeah, I didn’t care either. That’s why I took a chance on them blind as well.

Although, the sizes looked odd. I don’t have any tips those exact sizes, so I ordered a pack of S and a pack of M.

Obviously, one could get the SML pack to find the right size, but as that guy pointed out, you’re paying full price for 1 usable pair of tips.

Unless you have two different sized ear canals, as some do  . Then you're getting two pairs.

Found another IEM my app foams fit and work well on, Tin T2 plus.

Ehh, they’re okay. Sound good, don’t grip to the nozzle well though. Isolation not obviously better than typical silicone tips, glad I got three sizes to try, for shallow vs deep fit use. Not very comfortable though.

I wonder how they compare to Mandarins?
