Best IEM Cable with USB-C DAC

Hi All,

I want to minimise the amount of equipment that I take on public transport, and wanted to know what the consensus was on the best cable that has a usb-c dac, ideally a modular one with interchangeble teminations.

Was about to pull the trigger on the Dunu Lyre Mini until I read that many are saying the microphonics are really bad.

Which type of connectors to the IEM do you need? The best sound quality of all is a Fosi Audio DS2 with a 4.4mm IEM cable. There's some decent integrated ones, but the modular ones like on AliExpress are lame for noise floor and sound quality. The simple way is an Apple 3.5mm adapter for $9 and the ones I have are so tiny and sound really good. Just put it on your existing cable, or get a multikit cable and keep it on the 3.5mm plug. I do that on my travel IEMs and it's easy.

I'm in the UK, so the Apple Dongle is not an option.

Lately, the device I've been using the most is the ONIX Alpha. Of course, if possible, I would prefer to use a USB DAC/AMP with a built-in battery, as it usually provides a stronger dynamic range in sound.

If you are looking for USB C OTG cables, I suggest looking into the ddHiFi line.
