i just broke my vsonic gr06 today 

 
so im in the market for a new set of iems would like to spend no more than 150
 
 i listen to rap, hip hop, indie, rock, classical rock, and some orchestra
 
my source is samsung galaxy s3 with a digizoid zo2 amp
 
p.s. liked the gr06 but they did come out of my ears alot which is my only quarrel with them
never the less im looking for an upgrade from these

TDK BA200 and Rockit R-50 are imo the 2 best in that price range hands down.  You can get the BA200 at Buydig.com for $149 shipped and the R-50 from Amazon for $119.99 shipped.  Both have a warmer signature but the R-50 has more sparkle in the highs and the BA200 has more bass and is the smoothest IEM I've ever heard.

how do the ba 200's stack up to the gr07's?
those 2 are at the top of my list atm and having trouble deciding

I like the BA200 more because of the better soundstage (they both have the same amount of detail and monitor like sound signature).  The BA200's soundstage is as wide as the GR07 but with much more depth and the imaging is also quite a bit better because so.  Of all the 30 or more IEM's I've heard the BA200 is my favorite and would work great with the music you listen to.

A few days ago I was deciding between the GR07 MKII and BA200 as well
 
I like the sound signature of both, in fact they share similar qualities of being warm and sweet.
 
If you don't like the ergonomics of the GR06, I think the GR07 MKII should be similar (though I have no issues with fit at all)

They do share pretty much the same sound signature and the biggest difference between the 2 imo is the soundstage and imaging.  The GR07 MKI and MKII don't have very good soundstage depth where the BA200 portrays depth very well and that also helps the imaging sound more realistic.

The RE262 are great buy for there current price and others IEMs like Sony EX600, JVC FXD80, UE TF10Pro, Klipsch Image X5 are recommended too but if you go little higher than your current budget then RE272 are amazing for the price.

Yeah the RE262 is well worth the $149 they go for, I kind of regret selling those along with my R-50 and e-Q5 but selling them helped me get the BA200 and SM3 V2 so its a good trade off imo.

Erm... The RE262 isn't as cost effective as a lot of people say... I found the RE262 to be notoriously picky with amping, but I managed to find a ridiculously good pairing with my HM-602. A simple source will surely bring these IEMs down. I noticed you included the ZO2. Not too sure if the RE262 works well with it as I never tried the two together, but a lot of recommendations listed above are probably your best bet. My vote goes to the Audeo 012 and buying comply/whatever tips and also buying the Grey and Black filter set. Ooor if you're lazy and don't care about saving a few dollars, get the PFE112 that has everything pretty much.

The RE262 sounded great from my cheap E11 and E6 and I also thought they sounded good with no amp you just had to crank up the volume really high the hear them.

I'm sure it did sound nice out of the two as I have/had them both as well and tried it with the RE262. Ermm to me, it sounded poor compared to it coming out of a good amp/a player like the HM-602. Cranking the volume doesn't immediately give it enough, and a proper, current to play the RE262 on the same level as a E11 for example. The point of external amplification is to do most of the "push" while the source is to send the "code" to the amp.

how many hours of burn in are required of ba200 for full sound?
