Wondering if anyone can help me with my pursuit of >$150 IEMs. (might be willing to push it that far). 
 
I'm looking for a pair of IEM ~$100 that are quick, have a warm dark sound, slightly rolled off highs so there isn't any shrillness or fatigue or clinical sound, good separation without sounding too airy or glassy, and very quick as well. Does anyone have any suggestions?
 
 
I have some Thinksound TS02 and they sound terrible to me. They are way too boomy and punchy and farty. Upper mids can't be distinguished at all and they're way too slow with quicker paced music. I prefer the stock ipod headphones in comparison because they at least have a more neutral quicker sound and upper mids are distinguishable. The stock ipod earbuds obviously sound horrible otherwise though. 
 
I've a pair of Sennheiser HD650 with Darkvoice Tube amp, Some Beyer's, and recently Sennheiser HD558 and I really don't like either the Beyer or less expensive Sennheiser sound signature. They're too airy and clinical to me and sound glassy. I like the warm dark sound of the HD650 and was wondering if there are any IEM which might have similar sound characteristics.

Partial answer:
Dont buy the $100 popular recommendation king i.e. RE0. The sound is not warm and it is clinical.
Its a good iem with lots of detail but not your sound signature.

How bout phonak audeo 121?
they have bass port.. it just a little bit over your budget..
 
you seem want fast sound, BA driver will do fine for you

I enjoy the sound profile you described, and I am quite happy with my Shure SE-215s. They sound great, seal easily and look very well made for $99.

Possibly Yamaha EPH-100. They have a lot of bass, but it's not boomy, it's more of the full, thick type. The mids are fast and detailed and not covered up. The treble is rolled off quite a bit and very inoffensive. Sound stage is amazing. Probably the best non-clinical IEM I've ever heard under $150.

RE262 are warm, enough but not too much bass and highs are not bright. Does need an amp to get the most out of it.

I had some Shure IEM in the past about 3 years ago but can't remember the model. They were quite expensive though ~$120. And they broke on me. The driver port for the earbud snapped after only a few months with regular use (and no heavy abuse). Are Shures better manufactured these days? Bought them out of a kiosk for the hell of it while I was working but I am not thinking of any downsides when I owned them so I must have been pleased with their sound quality. Shure and Sennheiser seem the best brands for warm dark sound that doesn't sound too muddled.

Definitely describes the TDK BA100s. Check Newegg- often have them for as low as $45 ($74.99 right now). Great sounding earphones!
